my boyfriend recently made a profile on facebook.com and he is talking with girls from that site whom he calls old friends. i know his password and i logged on this morning. i found out that he has given them his msn address and asked them to meet in person. he has also told them about me but still they were like more than friends. the girls call him honey, darling, etc. i am very angry at the moment. i want to break up with him. what should i do?
Well,you should end the relationship.
By the way,why were you spying on your boyfriend? I would be pissed if someone found out the password to my facebook account.

Well this was supposed to be an update video but all of a sudden turned into a facebook rant, so i flew with it. I have a myspace and have friends on it but just got the facebook. However, how do I start adding people from my school without looking like a creep and then run into them on campus. I do want to meet new people but I dont know too many people at my school. I just don’t want to add random people. Transferring to my university from JC makes it harder. I graduated h.s. in 01, before all this social networking craze and not too many people my graduting year are on them. The people I actually talk to in class or at school are not on facebook.

if you know one person at your school on facebook, then ask to meet their friends, and then you can add them, and its endless. also, check out people in your class, add your classes to your profile and you can see who is also on facebook from there
excellent for looking for a study buddy in a class (or looking for an excuse to make a friend)

Once again facebook changed the homepage and now I can’t figure out how to write on my own wall. I hate this new layout and I need help please!
Hmmmm well you can not write on your own wall ever since the 2nd facebook. (why’d ya wanna do that anyways?)
but good new you CAN update your status!!!! yayy! and lucky for you with this new facebook updating your status is pretty much just like writing on your own wall.
You can go about this two ways….either from your profile page or the home page. Either way there should be a box at the top of the page where there’s space to write your status. Then click the SHARE botton.
…and TA-DA!!! hope that was clear enough for you.

I dont want people to see my facebook pictures and i dont know how to change it. Help!
Well, It’s very simple. just follow these instructions:
Go to:
Settings (on the top right of your facebook page)> Privacy Settings> Profile
In the list, click on: "Edit Photo Albums Privacy Settings".
You can choose which albums you want people to see and who can see them (Choose "Only Me" if you want total privacy for you Pictures). Don’t forget to save changes in the bottom of the page.
You can also put restrictions on the photos you are tagged in:
Go to:
Settings (on the top right of your facebook page)> Privacy Settings> Profile
Make your choice in "Photos tagged of you".
Don’t forget to save.

Is it true teachers (for example, grade 8 teachers) have to check their students facebooks every so often to make sure they’re safe?
i heard of this and i also heard that the teachers can only check what we DON’T set on private… so for most people, basically just our display picture.
is this true? (especially for teachers in Ontario)
id say its not a must for teachers to do this, but you as the facebook user should be aware that anyone can and will access your information, not just teachers. whilst some teachers may feel it necessary and useful to check a profile if they believe that person is being bullied etc it is not vital that they do this, and often (i know this from experience as i worked in my old school) teachers would rather not have a great deal to do with their students in the outside world as this can be twisted into many different versions of events

Check this option: Use this setting to control whether your search result is available outside of Facebook.
this will make ur profile searchable on google!!
