Should I take the Creative coordinator position?
November 20th, 2009 | by admin |I am a creative intern at an Ad firm, and I try to switch my career focus to marketing, especially social media marketing. But my Creative Director offers me a position of Creative coordinator. Should I take it? I am looking for professional experience from both marketing and advertising, and plz be as detailed as possible. I appreciate for your valuable advice!
Unless you have other offers on the table, you should probably take it in this job environment. Just keep your eye on the prize. Maybe you can volunteer at a Not-For-Profit in your spare time and pick up social media experience there. If you do well, you could be placed on the board of directors – and that looks really good on a resume. There are always other avenues.
